Stramurtcraft
A downloadable game for Windows
This is Stramurtcraft, a poorly made copy of Minecraft!
Stramurtcraft is a small voxel sandbox game inspired by Minecraft.
Many things are intentionally rough:
- The player can jump and fly at the same time, and can also rotate the camera endlessly without any particular limits.
- The player can switch to third person, but is stiff and has no animations, like a log.
- At night you can barely see anything, it's completely dark.
- The textures are badly made, with no consistency or polish.
- The audio quality is terrible, unbalanced and distorted.
- The toolbar is the original Minecraft one, but it's there mainly for aesthetics, it's useless.
However, it's based on simple but functional mechanics:
- The ability to interact, change, place, and destroy some iconic blocks in the world.
- A day/night cycle.
- Accurate gravity and collisions.
- A safety mechanic in case the player gets stuck inside objects.
- An invisible barrier that prevents the player from leaving the playable area.
- Automatic world saving to disk, allowing the game to be resumed later.

Stramurtcraft doesn't aim to compete with Minecraft. It just wants to exist.
It's a game that shouldn't work. But somehow does.
The world is waiting for you, fun guaranteed!
